About Geanna Culbertson

 

Geanna Culbertson is a 36-time award-winning author, publisher, and USC graduate. At school, she majored in Public Relations and triple-minored in Marketing, Cinematic Arts, and Critical Approaches to Leadership (a mix of Psychology, Political Science, and History courses). She also graduated as a Renaissance Scholar (for her diverse educational pursuits) and Discovery Scholar through the USC School of Cinematic Arts (for her research/thesis on, what she coins, the “hero-princess” archetype). She is a part of only 1.3% of her graduating class to earn this double distinction.

Geanna has built a literary universe with 15 books and counting, and is passionate about creating dynamic characters that readers grow with, and embracing themes like self-acceptance, change, harnessing inner strength, and taking fate into your own hands. Her fiction stories are known for their adventure, humor, heart, magical worlds, and positive messaging. She is also devoted to crafting complex, evolving heroes. These passions, and her background at USC, Walt Disney Studios, Nickelodeon, and Paramount Studios, have led her to create amazing programming for schools, libraries, and organizations like the Girl Scouts.
